Tweet Speak – Patriots Fans Make the Call

The last round of Tweet Speak went over very well as Patriots fans all across the Twitter Nation sent in their thoughts about their concerns entering the playoffs. This week, I posed the question on who you would rather play should the Patriots get to the second round: the Indianapolis Colts or the San Diego Chargers. It’s been the hot topic in Boston all week with Belichick playing close to the vest on whether or not he will play his starters this week. Twitter can get a bad rap from time to time, but for circumstances like this one it is just fantastic!

Now for my two cents. Honestly, I think I would rather play the Colts. Sometimes the evil you know is better than the evil you don’t. The Patriots have already stepped into the ring with the Colts once this year and despite taking the loss they came away looking like a legitmate contender. If you give Bill Belichick and Tom Brady another look at the same defense they’ll pick it apart. When it comes to San Diego. Well, I lost a lot of respect for them when LaDanian started running his mouth after the Patriots upset them in 2006. It seems like they’re the team that should be better then they are every single year. This year, I actually might be buying into the hype. Thanks to the cover of two undefeated teams, San Diego has been flying under the radar and I want to give them as many chances to get knocked out of the playoffs before the Patriots would have to travel all of the way to the west coast. That’s my two cents.
