Tuesday Morning Coffee Talk – 12/16
December 16th, 2009 | by PatsChowder |
Good morning, Patriots Nation! All I can say is that I am thrilled the Red Sox made some moves this week. With all of the hoopla surrounding Randy Moss, the Patriots needed some help, along with their own backing of the wide receiver, to deflect some attention away from the team this week. Now all they need is one big performance from him this Sunday to put the whole thing in the past.
At the draft, Bill Belichick raved about Sebastian Vollmer’s versatility. Today, he still can’t stop raving. It may not be long before he steps in and replaces Matt Light on the blind side.
How important is Randy Moss to the Patriots? Well, he has Tom Brady, Bill Belichick, and Nick Caserio all getting his back. Talk about trotting out the A-team.
Blaugh hands out its gameballs for last week’s game against Carolina, and the recipients may not be who you thought they were.
Brian MacPherson at the Union Leader believes the Patriots are down but not out.
