It’s Larry Johnson all the time here on PatsChowder.com! I weighed in on all of the rumors yesterday, and I am happy to report that Larry Johnson has not donned the flying Elvis just yet. I know, a lot of you are hoping that he’ll still land in New England, but let me ask you this. Johnson cleared waivers yesterday at 4pm. If he was really that good, do you think he would have made it through? I’ll sit back and sip my coffee while you ponder that one. Tweet me with your answers!
According to ESPN.com, no team claimed Johnson off of waivers. This could be for any of a number of reasons, but financially it didn’t make sense to any of the 31 other teams. Now, should he sign, Kansas City will have to pay the remaining $2.1 million that he is owed.
According to Adam Schefter’s Twitter account/span>, Larry Johnson may not be signing this year! He’s ruled out Houston, but has yet to rule out New England.
Both Nick Caserio and Bill Belichick are talking about Larry Johnson, but we have yet to see the result. Or maybe we have. It’s tough to see when they decide to pass.
