Friday Morning Coffee Talk – 10/30
October 30th, 2009 | by PatsChowder |Eat, Drink, and be Meriweather
Good morning, Patriots Nation! Those of you amidst your 9-5 Monday-Friday work weeks can breathe freely. It’s almost over. Unfortunately, the Yankees are in the World Series and there is no Patriots game to watch this weekend. So, let’s just hope everyone has a Happy Halloween!!! Send all of your Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups my way. They go good with my morning coffee!

The Boston Globe is running a piece on Brandon Meriweather and his breakout season. He’s making my lofty preseason expectations look like a cake walk.
The Patriots players have three days off starting today, but what are they going to do with it all? Personally, I think both Gary Guyton and Kevin Faulk have the right idea.
Jim Donaldson of the Providence Journal thinks the toughest battle the Patriots will have to deal with is staying healthy. I’d like to think we’ve already dealt with the injuries: Fred Taylor, Jerod Mayo, Wes Welker, Randy Moss, Sammy Morris, Matt Light, Julian Edelman… need I go on.
There will be a Jarvis Green autograph signing at the Smokey Bones in Nashua, New Hampshire on November 16. Those in the area should check it out. Proceeds will help benefit his charity The Jarvis Green Foundation which provides support to single working mothers in disadvantaged, low-income areas.
