Matt Light Injury Update

What is up Patriots Nation! It’s been a few days since I have been able to throw something down here and I apologize for the delay. I was out of town celebrating my grandfather’s 90th birthday and he just isn’t as up to date with the internet and whatnot. Nevertheless, I was still able to watch the game this weekend and I’ve got my thoughts on that, as well as a very productive Sammy Morris (although I believe he still owes me 2 touchdowns). Let’s get right to the headlines.

CT

Dean Pees is concerned about the defense, which is good because, you know, that’s his job and all.

How much hoopla will Wes Welker get now that he’s been selected the most underrated player in the NFL by his peers according to Sports Illustrated. Brett Favre and Eli Manning got their due in the overrated column. I’m guessing Welker gets none. After all, he’s underrated.

Junior Seau has now signed on for his third stint with the New England Patriots according to Versus. However, Belichick and Robert Kraft are continuing playing coy.

The good news on Matt Light’s injury is that there appears to be no significant ligament damage. The bad news is that Belichick is continuing the “no comment” route on determining a return.
